New Year Resolution.

With the new year fast approaching I’ve begun contemplating my 2012 new years resolutions. Now like many of you, I have trouble keeping to my resolutions or even remembering what they are, however upon my reflection of the past 12 months I have realised that I have actually acquired what I had wished for in the new year. My wished resolution for 2011 did not arrive with haste or with blinding lights but it carefully wove itself into my world and it is only now that I recognise the change. So based on the success of this years wish I feel somewhat pressured to make my resolution’s for 2012 impeccably perfect.

In 2011 I wished for courage. The courage to follow my heart and to follow my dreams. The courage to make the life change I had always wanted. I found that courage and now in 2012 im going to build on it.
So further to the latter I have comprised a small list of my 2012 NY Resolutions and desires. May they inspire you to create your list.

1. To drive leisurely through Italy

Cinque Terre, Italy

2. To fall in total and consuming love- well perhaps become ready for this type of love

3. To learn fluent Greek

4. To achieve my goal weight

ok lets just pause here for a minute. My Goal Weight. This is something which has quite literally controlled every aspect of my life for the last 7 years. My god! Due to this, you will notice several NYRs relating to this topic. Its a new year for me and I need to focus on myself!

ok... continue...

5. To write a book

6. To free myself from all toxic past relationships. No going back.

7.  To be confident to wear a bikini and or walk around the house naked

8. To actually want to take pictures of myself and be happy with how I look

enjoy!

rafael lazzini

ok
I don't normally lust after the famous (well apart from Karl Lagerfeld) but there is one certain individual who has become an exception to my rule.

Ladies, meet Rafael Lazzini and swoon!

All the pictures are from www.rlazzini.blogspot.com

“I carry your heart with me
(I carry it in my heart)
I am never without it
(anywhere I go you go,my dear; and whatever is done by only me is your doing,my darling)
I fear no fate
(for you are my fate,my sweet)
I want no world
(for beautiful you are my world,my true)
and it's you are whatever a moon has always meant and whatever a sun will always sing is you here is the deepest secret nobody knows
(here is the root of the root and the bud of the bud and the sky of the sky of a tree called life; which grows higher than the soul can hope or mind can hide)
and this is the wonder that's keeping the stars apart I carry your heart
(I carry it in my heart)”

hearts

It appears as though I may be in the business of breaking hearts.
Whilst it is not an occupation I pride myself in, nor is it one I had foreseen for my vocation,
but alas, unfortunately one cannot escape what has undeniably been placed in one's lap.

I believe I shall continue with this vocation until I find what I am searching for- that is, my other half
perhaps I shall pronounce this as a caution.
Those should heed warning-
I will not lay or stay
nor linger or respond to mutters of affection or gnawings of muse
As I am elefteri. I am free
and intend to remain as such.

a thought

soul mates

I wait for you my other half
for I am half without you

My soul and spirit are missing spark
I search for a love thats true

Come to me and make me whole
teach me about love

And when all is lost, and hope is gone
remind me of our lust

Awaken me from nothingness,
repair my broken heart

Play to me our ancient tune
sing for me your part

I stand here waiting for you my love
merely passing time

I wait for you to meet me here
so we can start our life

Our Love will stand all treacherous tides
no single storm will weather

For only you can complete my soul
we are true birds of feather.

ACCORDING TO GREEK MYTHOLOGY,
HUMANS WERE ORIGINALLY CREATED WITH FOUR ARMS, FOUR LEGS AND A HEAD WITH TWO FACES.
FEARING THEIR POWER, ZEUS SPLIT THEM INTO TWO SEPARATE PARTS,
CONDEMNING THEM TO SPEND THEIR LIVES IN SEARCH OF THEIR OTHER HALVES.
