LMFF 2011: Trunk Show 1 Jack London

hey kids! sincere apologies for the lack of blog update but I have been licking my
wounds after being thrown off the runway by tonsillitis.

Well most of you would know now that LMMF 2011 has come to an end and
unfortunately the Jack London show was the last I was able to work.

At the Jack London show I was ushering/ checking in. It was a great opportunity
for me as I was front of housethis time rather than back. Front of house was
fantastic, slightly tedious at times- making sure all gift bags and programs
are EXACTLY aligned etc but exciting none the less.

OK so I'll be honest, when I first arrived for my shift I was greeted
by the rudest, stuck up, head bigger than Jupiter "fashion-ista"
and I almost threw it in. But I stood tall and waited for my head
volunteer and director for the night and I am SO glad I did. The trunk show
was much smaller than Fashion Full stop and with it came an amazing
team of Volleys.The night was fantastic because of the team. Our director
Jane was this eccentric and creative lady. Our head volley, Edith was another
special individual- a gorgeous and confident girl with beautiful blond hair
in a pony and a white smile. The other Volleys were cool as well, especially
Rae this uber cool girl with amazing tatts that she pulls off so well!

The show itself was fantastic. The stylists definitely did a number on
this one it was Burberry meets Ralph Lauren. And the models-well they
were individually chosen from different agencies within Melbourne and
Sydney. Oh and there was Chops, the bulldog that made his very
first cameo appearence on the runway. He was owned by one of the
models.

There were also a few celebrities front row-
Allanah Hill (die) with her son,
Scott Mcgregor (double die, cop from Neighbours) and Rhys Uhlich (winner of make
me a supermodel)
