oday is the last day for the
Aussies on the island. I’ve had such a great time with them, but as the saying
goes, all good things must come to an end! We spent the day at our usual, as it
seemed to be the only place in town with any air! It’s so hot todayI can barely
function! I also fear that I am suffering dehydration from copious amounts of
alcohol and of course the heat.
Mum and Dad called me today to
check on how everything was going and to also tell me that my sister Margarita
is pregnant with her second child! I am so happy for her!
Tonight we had dinner at Lakis
Taverna to farewell the Aussies. Whilst eating the power went out on the
island, I’m guessing because of the heat although no one could really confirm.
It was slightly romantic as many of the cafes whipped out candles.
Unfortunately the fans were no longer operating so we quickly finished dinner
and headed to our usual spot to hopefully get some air and ring out the night
with last drinks.
As of tomorrow I will one again be
a lone ranger! Better polish up on my Greek!
